IN-PERSON YOUTH SERVICES
We will begin having youth service in the Hagin Gym. We will no longer be meeting in Room 620, formally known as the Lower Chapel. If you have any questions you can contact the youth department at 248.353.3476 extension 210.
SCREENING PROCESS FOR YOUTH SERVICE:
We are increasing our screening process for Youth Service for the safety of all of the youth and the volunteers that serve them. We respectfully ask that you keep your son(s) and/or daughter(s) home from service and invite you to join the Church Online audience (via the Word of Faith website) in the event of any of the following:
1. If your son or daughter is experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, headache, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, chills or fever, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea; or
2. If he or she has been in direct contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days; or
3. If he or she has traveled to an area that has had a high incidence of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Each teen will have his/her temperature taken at the Registration desk and will be denied access to Youth Service if they have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or more or if any of the three points above are indicated.
If your teen is denied access to Youth Service, they will be directed to return to you in the sanctuary immediately and will be given a letter to hand you upon their return to you. If they do not return to you immediately as directed, they will not be allowed to return to Youth Service in the future.
As has been the case since we resumed services, youth must have a mask on when they enter the building. They also are asked to use hand sanitizer before they enter the youth room.
Thanks for your cooperation as we take the necessary precautions to protect one another during this time. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Joel Jenkins at (248) 353- 3476 ext. 210.
